What this site collects

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally a company, phone number, the topic you pick and the description of your problem. There is no account system, no login, and no tracking or advertising pixels on this site.

What happens to it

The form submits to our own endpoint, which emails the contents to us so an engineer can read and reply. It is used to answer your enquiry and to carry out any work that follows from it. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

Enquiry emails are delivered through a third-party transactional email provider and then held in our own mail system. Website hosting and email delivery may involve servers outside Australia.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our mail system as ordinary business correspondence. Records relating to engagements we carried out are kept as long as we are required to keep business records.

Access, correction and complaints

Email info@tinkernet.com.au to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
